MMU Breakout Box3
  • Breakout box for testing the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU) Flight Support Station (FSS) interface. (The FSS was the assembly in the Space Shuttle payload bay that mounted the MMU and allowed monitoring and battery charging.)
  • Consists of rows of test point jacks mounted on a metal box, with internal interconnecting wires.
  • Allowed testing of the signals on each circuit of the cables.
  • Made by Lockheed-Martin in Littleton, Colorado.
  • Box dimensions 12” x 8” x 3”.
  • Surplus from NASA.
