The Gemini astronaut mirror assembly was used for checking suit fittings and viewing other areas of the cabin. Photos show:
- Computer model of the mirror.
- One of two mirrors in the Gemini 8 spacecraft (above right).
- Part of the McDonnell Aircraft drawing of the mirror assembly (left).
The computer model was made using SolidWorks modeling software. It references fully dimensioned McDonnell Aircraft Gemini
engineering drawings. Historic Space Systems uses models such as this to design parts used in exhibits.
