Apollo Penlight


	Brass penlight or flashlight for use by the individual astronaut. Used in training by Apollo 17 Command Module Pilot Ron Evans. NASA photo shows Evans preparing to enter the spacecraft. His flight penlight can be seen in a pouch of his space suit below the flag.


	In addition to the penlights carried by the astronauts, two penlights were typically stowed in the Apollo Command Module.
