This is a Mercury control panel illustration as scanned from an original Spacecraft Flight Operations Manual for Spacecraft 18 (Scott Carpenter’s Aurora 7). It is left as originally scanned except for some rearrangement of parts to fit on a plotted sheet. The scan is enlarged to approximately full size. (The scale is not exact because the original is only an illustration, not an engineering drawing.) It gives a very good sense of the true panel size.

Note: Since this is scanned from a manual the readability is good but not perfect. See the full resolution illustration at bottom to judge the quality of the plot. (The plot is about double the resolution of the scans in the Mercury Handbook Illustrations.) The plot is in black and white only.
