  • I  have had the real controllers in my hands and this piece is a duplicate image of  the real Apollo controllers. An excellent piece to own.

-  Larry McGlynn, space collector

  • Accurate Apollo control handle reproduction, made by Historic Space Systems.
  • Molded from an Apollo Rotation Control in the collection of Historic Space Systems. It is the same size and appearance as the actual handle. The handle reproduction is so finely detailed you can see file marks from the fabrication of the original handle.
  • Rotation Control handles in the Command Module were aluminum castings, and in the Lunar Module, plastic. This handle reproduction is solid aluminum-filled plastic. It is painted to match the appearance of the Command Module grip from which it was molded.
  • Includes a molded reproduction of the trigger button for turning on the headset microphone, mounted as it would be on an actual handle (although it does not move).
  • Beautifully mounted on a 5" x 7" solid walnut base with a laser-etched plate. The plate reads, "Apollo Control Handle, Molded From An Actual Apollo Rotation Control."
  • Presented with a very classy black velveteen pouch, perfect as a gift.
  • Also includes a sheet explaining how the Apollo handle was used, with a picture of the original Rotation Control and an illustration of the Apollo Command/Service Module with its yaw, roll and pitch axes labeled.
  • Add this remarkable reproduction to your space collection. Or get one for a friend or colleague. (The walnut base has room to mount your own plate to personalize your gift.) Keep it within reach for whenever you feel the need to "get a grip!" Or display it proudly in a display case or on a shelf. It will attract admiration wherever it is displayed.
  • Note that this Apollo Control Handle display is hand made and includes a solid walnut base with grain and knot variations that add to its beauty. Your handle display will be very attractive but may differ slightly from these photos.
